Some things are better not shown to kids. I grew up in a jar. My parents worked so badly to shelter me from all evils of the world and inappropriate sights and sounds. Yet somehow I managed to see Un Chien Andalou at age of 5. Some images will never leave me now.
Best photos are the ones I never took. Shops at sparkling new train station in Seville. A boutique in lush crimson, kind of look you'd expect from a jewelry shop, or high fashion cloths. Artfully placed lights that highlight the pedestal with the only precious item in shop window. I stood there gawking at it, a huge chunk of pork ham, Jamon Iberico. Yay, well then, lets keep in ming the important things in life. I even had a camera in my hands for that one.
Instructions:
Slice the onions and put in a pot with the olive oil and sugar. Cook at low fire for 1 hour (microwave 15 minutes). Cover the pot. Add the wine and cook for another hour without the cover at low fire (if you do this part the day before, flavors will stand out). Toast the bread and spread the mixture on it. Lay one slice of Jamon Iberico on top. Prepare a pan at high fire and when it's very hot cook only for 30 seconds each side of the duck foie. Lay it on top of the Iberian acorn ham and pour some kitchen salt on it.

Hold on children
Your mother and father are leaving
Do you remember a time when this pool was
A great place for waterwings and cannonballs
A nice place for astrologists and blow up dolls
And on, and on...
Hold on children
Your best friend's parents are leaving
World needs PUNK cuisine!
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a food processor place the Pringles, Parmesan cheese, flour, chili powder. Pulse until you have a fine grind. Coat the sea bass well with the Pringle mixture, set aside. In a medium-sized saute pan over medium high heat, heat the canola oil until hot. Add the bass and saute on each side until golden brown, about 2 to 3 minutes each side. Remove bass from the saute pan into a baking pan and place in the oven for 4 minutes.

Ever since the last free roaming elephant heard of France and the Low Countries got extinct in 1916 (due to habitat loss during the Great War) world's Big Game Hunters have been deprived of the thrill of the famous Flemish Safari.
Now from l'Ile the city of Jules Verne comes the solution! Mechanical Elephant Replacement! Coordinated Frenco-Belgian Wildlife commission plans to release 5000 of these mechanical beasts in the rough region of Dunkirk by the year 2012.
It is time to invest again into Winchester Repeating Arms Company.

Instructions:
1. Use an ice pick to poke a hole in the ping pong ball, then use a razor
blade to make a big enough hole to put the black powder in.
2. Place the black powder in. Probably 3/4 full is best.
3. Now, insert the fuse into the ice pick hole.
4. Cover the entire ball with nail polish. This is used to make it louder.
5. Finally, cover the whole thing with tape, also used for loudness. When
you do this is makes it so it doesn't blow up as much of space. I don't do
this part.

Oh Boy! This one was a tough cookie to crack. Find a song I like?! Must be at least one? Intimidated by the sources that demand respect, surely I'll be able to find a way to appreciate such a thing of sophistication?
Meh, sure signs of decadence... It was just a few years ago, with the first onset of this indie Rock Revival we are basking in, when the prime acts were the likes of The Strokes and Kings of Leon. Two guitars, a drum and a base. Back to basics, kind of music. 2007. and a long winding road we have walked, probably a natural life cycle and a narrative arc of every music fad.
This year, The Album of The Year, according to our favorite musical snobs and Honorable Rev. John Alison (no 13 on it's list)... incredibly sophisticated and over intellectual Person Pitch by Panda Bear. Music for the connoisseurs. Her mom (and selected special few) like it very much.

Just cos I heard this one evening in a shop in Seville last year:
Ingredients:
1 clove garlic—chopped
½ small red onion—chopped
½ red pepper (capsicum)—deseeded and chopped
½ green pepper (capsicum)—deseeded and chopped
1 cup peeled, deseeded and chopped cucumber
3 cups tomato juice
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
½ teaspoon sea salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions:
Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender and process until smooth. CHILL in the fridge until you're ready to serve.
Variations: If you like a spicy kick, add a few drops of Tabasco sauce. You could use ripe and flavorful fresh tomatoes instead of tomato juice, but you need to skin and deseed them first (which is why we prefer to use good-quality tomato juice).
Tip: The flavors of gazpacho develop over time, so allow the soup to chill in the fridge for at least 20 minutes, and up to a day ahead.
